Meeting my derby wife, Blow Up Betty (Adelaide Roller Derby) across a cafeteria table; skating with her in Roll Britannia, 2009 to reach silver medal position with the Dames and then seeing Booze Wound Barbie and Brie Larceny (Newcastle Rollergirls) in the crowd to hear that Newcastle were gonna have their own rollergirls!
