Your Story:
After many years of trying to do different things to lose weight and keep fit, went on the internet for a different type of activity that didn't involve treadmills! Saw the trailer for Whip It and was fascinated with the concept and after more internet research, found the rules read them then watched Whip It. Then was looking to try and find a local derby league - found a few but none as good as BBD! Put on a pair of skates for the first time in years and was hooked. A severe injury in my first on skates training session and I didn't feel it!

Likes:
Music and photography, live gigs, comedy, reading, following instructions, making people laugh.

Dislikes:
Rudeness, deliberate arrogance, lack of respect, not being on skates and being shouted at.

Memorable Derby Moment:
Attending the first on skates session, making good progress then falling and breaking my wrist. Looking at awe at the dames and what the refs were doing and said to myself I soooo wanna do that!!
