After hearing about the joys and violence of derby from my overseas derby wife, I discovered there was a league in Birmingham and went along to their sessions despite fears that I would be broken into three pieces by the first ten minutes. I went home exhausted but smiling.

Likes:
Skating until I'm two steps away from passing out. Tricking newbies into thinking I'm awesome. My cat.

Dislikes:
Being useless. Flailing arms. Tripping up my teammates (SORRY GUYS.) Embroidery.

The first time I put on skates I realised it made me feel 100% cooler.
