Your Story:
One bored day, I read something about roller derby on the internet and wondered what it was - after watching some videos on YouTube I was immediately obsessed and wondered whether there was anything locally. I found the Blitz Dames site and saw their newbie induction was just a few days away, so I emailed about coming before I could wimp out. I went along, and the rest is history.

Likes:
Chocolate, big hair, my family (not necessarily in that order).

Dislikes:
The smell of my pads. :(

Memorable Derby Moment:
Having my toe stop fall off in the middle of the track as a pack of amazingly fast skaters approached, and apparently doing an awesome transition to get out of the way just narrowly avoiding being run over.
